Why Use Videos?

Because they Communicate powerfully

With videos, every picture tells a story. Jesus realised the power of telling stories when He taught and communicated with others. Using stories is just as powerful today and since we live in a media driven culture, where virtually everyone communicates via visual media: TV, movies, the internet (the more visual, the better) and where most people are now visual learners, for Gospel communicators sermon videos bring to life the truth you are seeking to communicate

Traditionally, church services are for the auditory person: singing songs, listening to the music or testimony, or hearing the message and prayer. If one was to do a children's address at our church it wouldn't be long before the fidgeting  began or even the whispering or yawning. As soon as a video starts up on the screen the children's attention is immediately captured!

Everyone pays a little better attention when a video is playing. A good illustration on video helps prepare people to receive the message.

Because they have IMPACT!

What touches an individual? It may be the music, the words on the screen, or the story itself, videos can help drive home the message we are trying to communicate, and add impact and power to the message. It can express an idea or explain a point in two to three minutes that would take ten or more if we were left to explain it. We're not suggesting that you use video as the only way of communicating, but rather to use it as part of a presentation or talk to give greater IMPACT.
